Job Summary
The psychological services team of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is seeking psychologists to fill current and upcoming openings.
Applicants must have clinical background which includes good knowledge of such fields as mental health, psychopathology, and personality disorders. They must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Through two separate teams, Psychology Services offers various organizational and employee support programs. Applicants may be assigned to any one of these teams.
Education
Applicants must possess a Master’s in psychology and three (3) years experience or a Doctorate degree in psychology and two (2) years experience. Applicants must also be a member of a professional body of psychologists.
Experience
- Applicants must moreover have experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Short-term counselling in the workplace;
- Wellness promotion in the workplace;
- Psychological assessments, including the analysis and interpretation of psychometric tests, psychological interviews, and the preparation of reports; and
- Organizational development and team building.
Other Requirements
Applicants must possess oral presentation and training skills. Applicants may travel across Canada.
Who Can Apply
Canadian citizens eligible for a Top Secret security clearance.
Security Requirements
Candidates must have no criminal record, must not have used illegal drugs in the last twelve (12) months and must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. This process involves a security interview, a polygraph, and a background investigation that includes credit and financial verifications.

Salary Range
$72,010 to $87,630 per year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Indeterminate position and a one year term position.
